Art has always offered the most meaningful forms of self-expression for jewelry designer, Isabelle Ecker.
However, her most important creative venture in design and crafting jewelry began ten years ago in a dimly lit basement at Moore College of Art located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Little did she know that her passion for creating jewelry would someday lead to a full-time career. Isabelle attended semester long and weekend workshops in metalsmithing at Moore and Tyler School of Art for several years. All these experiences led to Isabelle’s clear vision that for the rest of her life she wanted to create jewelry and establish a successful business.
During high school, Isabelle worked at a jewelry store in Chestnut Hill, PA learning the ropes of running a business as well as working with a master jeweler. She continued to work with this jeweler while attending as a fine arts undergraduate at Tyler School of Art. Isabelle has learned and mastered many skills and is excited to start participating in top juried art shows to share her love of jewelry through her new business, Isabelle Ecker Jewelry.
The future holds many possibilities for Isabelle. She plans on participating in many art shows all over the country and one day open up her own store. In the meantime, Isabelle works tirelessly in her studio creating beautiful pieces of jewelry. As one who is always curiously observant of nature, Isabelle finds that her inspiration strikes most often while taking long walks in the woods and traveling to the mountains and beach.
